Interventions:

1. use laser cutter instead of hand grinding
2. make a machine, which would help to control the movement more, something like pottery wheel for the glass and then rotate around with grinder
3. combine hand work with a machine work, for example with the drawing

3. try different type of molds

Set up smaller thickness of material and try to cut through the material just partly, so it might have interesting slices inside.
